Prepare For Takeoff

Welcome!  I’ve been writing about music for some time now (over at All That Cheeky Music), but as my Facebook and Twitter rants seem to be more and more frequent and about a variety of things, the need for a new site has arisen.  Debfreemanblog will be about more than just music; you can expect social commentary, live blogging award shows and other television events, and whatever else strikes my fancy.  Ideally this will grow into a place for discourse and to exchange ideas; even if they are in contrast to my own.

Later tonight will be my first real post…I’ll have thoughts about the upcoming Republican debate, and the content will also be available at The New York Times.  So settle in ladies and gents, and let’s see where this goes.
